Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Alektor website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

Who we are

This website is operated by Alektor (“Alektor”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a family-run restaurant located on Dimokratias Square, Zakynthos Town, Zakynthos, Greece. You can contact us at [email protected] or +30 26950 24644.

About this website

This website is provided for general information about our restaurant — our menu, location, opening hours, events and live music — and to let you send us a reservation request or get in touch. It is an informational website; we do not sell products or take payments through it.

Reservations

  • Submitting our reservation form, or contacting us by phone, email or WhatsApp, sends us a request for a table. A reservation is only confirmed once we have replied to confirm it. A submitted request is not, by itself, a guaranteed booking.
  • Please provide accurate details (name, contact information, date, time and number of guests) so we can respond and prepare for your visit.
  • If your plans change, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the table to other guests.
  • We may be unable to accommodate every request — for example at busy times — and we may need to suggest an alternative date or time.

Our menu, dishes and opening hours may change with the season and availability, and items shown on the website may not always be available. Any information about food or drink is provided in good faith; if you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, please tell us directly so we can advise you.

Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos and design — is owned by Alektor or used with permission, and is protected by law. You may view and share the website for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, submit false or abusive reservation requests, or use it in any way that harms Alektor or others.

Our website may link to or embed third-party services (such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, or social media). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

Availability and “as is” disclaimer

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or up to date at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude any warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alektor will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on information provided on it. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, and these Terms do not affect the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and any dispute relating to them or to this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Greek courts. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. By continuing to use the website after changes are posted, you accept the revised Terms.
